Crew turns 5!

Crew is 5 years old! Time has sure flown by. I'll have to admit he's been my most challenging child, but who doesn't love a challenge? Maybe just not everyday! :) All joking aside I sure love this boy. He has a very tender side to him that melts my heart. He's been my little sidekick for years so it will be quite a change sending him off to kindergarten next year. Love you buddy!

Reese's Blessing

Reese was blessed on Easter Sunday in California. We had the blessing at Darin's home following church. It was a great blessing and so nice to have lots of family around to be a part of it.

Easter

We spent another fun Easter in Laguna this year. The trip flew by since we only had 2 full days there and 2 days of travel, but we made the most of it. The weather was perfect all weekend. Easter morning the kids raced to the beach to find their Easter baskets. After church we came back to Darin's where Reese was blessed. Then a delicious dinner and we were back on the road to come home. Wish we lived closer to make the trip more often. It's always such fun!

St. Patrick's Day

In honor of my dad we lived up the day! Breakfast was especially green and the leprachaun even left some "gold" for the little lads. Happy Birthday Dad, love and miss you!!

Riley Turns 7

My sweet Ry turned 7! We are so thankful for this girl in our family. She is such a big help to me, especially with Reese. I love to go places with just her and I because she's so fun to be around. She's smart as can be and is instant friends with everyone she meets.
This year we had her party at home. The girls made their own pizzas then did a craft. Then she opened presents and they all dug into the cake and icecream. It was a very loud 2 hours with 8 crazy girls running around but they had a blast. Next year we may opt to go somewhere outdoors. :) We sure love you Riley!

Christmas 2011

Christmas was so fun this year. We had everyone in the family there for nearly the entire week of Christmas. There was plenty of snow which was great since we didn't have an ounce back in Provo. The kids had a blast sledding behind the 4-wheelers in the field. Reese wasn't even a week old when we took her down but she did great and never ran out of arms to hold her. Every meal was delish as always. Since Christmas was on Sunday this year Santa dropped off an early present for the kids to enjoy during the week. They found a note from one of the elves who told them to go outside to find their gift. Much to their surprise, they found a 4-wheeler wrapped with a bow out on the deck! They were a bit speechless but thrilled! They quickly bundled up and threw on helmets to take it for a ride. That should keep them entertained for years to come. Christmas Eve we watched the kids put on the traditional nativity play for us then opened Christmas Eve jammies and off to bed for the kiddos. Christmas morning was so fun to watch the kids and cousins open their loot. Christmas at the ranch is my favorite! As always it was sad to lock it up for the year when it was time to go. We love sure love Grover!
