The Big 5

My first born turned 5 big ones last Saturday. I can hardly believe how fast the time has flown! The first thing out of Riley's mouth when she woke up was "I feel sooo much older!"
We started off the morning with the traditional doughnuts and chocolate milk (per Ry's request). Then we opened a few presents, got into our snow clothes and headed to Mapleton for cake, ice cream, and sledding. Hobble Creek Canyon has a great little snow hill that the kids have the best time racing down. Riley is a little dare-devil and goes by herself headfirst. The faster the better in her eyes!
Overall she had a great birthday and is so excited to be 5. She is sure to tell everyone she meets. We are so happy to have Riley in our family. She is a great big sis to her 2 brothers and such a big help to me with Beck. She's always up for a challenge and not the least bit shy. Can't imagine life w/o her! We love you Ry!
